1. I don't understand NAICS, DOD Claimant, and PSC codes. Would you please explain?

I don't understand NAICS, DOD Claimant, and PSC codes. Would you please explain?
 a)  NAICS, DOD Claimant, and PSC codes are three different ways the Department of Defense classifies the work that is done in a given contract.
 b)  NAICS is the North American Industry Classification System is the standard used by Federal statistical agencies in classifying business establishments for the purpose of collecting, analyzing, and publishing statistical data related to the U.S. business economy.
 c) A DOD Claimant program code designates a grouping of supplies, construction, or other services.
 d)  PSC or Product Service Codes are another method the government uses to describe its classifies contract work.
 e)  PursuitCAT lets you search for Federal contracts using all three of the methods of categorization.

The company I'm looking for is not listed. Why?
  a) The company may not have any contracts directly with the government in the year selected.
  b) The government does not report subcontracts.  For example, if Company A has a contract with the Army, and Company A then issues a subcontract to Company B for a part of the work, only Company A will be listed.
I can't log on to my account. Why?
  a) Account may have expired. click here to renew your subscription.
  b)  The account may have been initially used on a different PC.  Accounts are only valid on the PC used to initially access PursuitCAT. If this is a problem, click here to request an account reset.
How can I print out my results?
 a)  You can print the results of any search using the print capability of you browser.
 b)  You can print to PDF if you have a PDF printer installed such as CutePDF,
 c)  Your print out is limited to the results you see on your screen.
 d)  The number of results is 2000 per page.
 e)  If you have in excess of 2000 results you will have to print them in groups of 2000. 
How can I exporting my results to Microsoft Excel where I can do additional analysis?
 a)  Results from all the search pages can be exported by clicking on the "Export Button".
 b)  Like printing, you only can export the results on a single page.
 d)  The number of results is 2000 per page.
 e)  If you have in excess of 2000 results you will have to export them in groups of 2000. 
Where does the data for PursuitCAT come from?
  All data for PursuitCAT comes from publicly available government sources.
Every now and then some of PursuitCAT's results look inconsistent.  What's going on?
  All the data for PursuitCAT was entered by a human some where along the way. Occasionally some piece of the contract data gets entered incorrectly by the original entry person.
When I change the state, there is a delay before I can do anything, such as select a county. Why?
  When you select a state or change states, the counties for that state have to updated.  This takes a second or two.
